David Charles Bourgeois (69) passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on December 13, 2023.

David had an extensive military career as a flight engineer in the RCAF, which he was very passionate about. After retiring from the military, he worked at various jobs, but especially enjoyed living in Dubai while working for Boeing.

David loved to travel and see the world as well as cruising around on his motorcycle or in his sports car. One of his favorite cruising accomplishments was travelling route 66 from beginning to end. David also really loved spending time with friends and family and being an entertainer extraordinaire. He enjoyed many hobbies and sports including curling, skydiving, surfing, scuba diving, wood working, and especially being a dog dad to Daiquiri.

David is survived by his mother Vera Nearing, partner Deborah Fingland, Children Julie Kashmere (Ryan), Crystal Bourgeois (John), Stephanie Bourgeois (Greg), Matthew Bourgeois (Rochelle). Siblings Darlene Lawrence (Phil), Geri Severs, Leah Harbak (Doug), Glen Bourgeois (Lynne), Wayne (Lori) as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. David is predeceased by his father Alonzo Bourgeois.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in David's name.
